What if The Beatles were just at the right place at the right time? A day in Liverpool touring Beatles legacy makes me wonder whether their meeting and subsequent path to immortality was just happenstance and external events such as Vietnam and President Kennedy’s death only acted to amplify their impact. Worth considering.
